WEB STYLE NAVIGATION

With large and complex files it can be difficult for your spreadsheet users to get to what’s important. By adding a web style navigation bar to your file you can keep your users focused. Simple set up, just format the cells how you want and input your cell references, URLs and email addresses:
You can set up web style navigation easily using the AIRT ‘Menu Bar’ feature.
Just create the menu labels the way you want to see them – identify the sheet names or specify ‘url’ or ’email – then a third column of cell references (or web addresses or email addresses as appropriate). Then click ‘Menu Bar’ on the AIRT Excel ribbon.
You have choices about where to start the menu on each sheet and how you want to define the width of each menu option: autofit each label, use the column width or use the size of the width of the largest label.
The navigation bar will be placed in the same place on each sheet. It will look the same on all sheets, even if you have some hidden columns in some sheets.
Even if you change the workbook or worksheet names the navigation bar will continue to work. But if you do want to change the bar you can do so in seconds – no need to delete the existing navigation bar.
HYPERLOOKUP
The AIRT HYPERLOOKUP feature lets you add hyperlinks to any standard VLOOKUP function.
Just select the cell (or cells) with a VLOOKUP formula and click on the HYPERLOOKUP button on the AIRT ribbon. The hyperlinks are added to the formulas.
Remember anyone can use this file once you’ve created the HYPERLOOKUP – it makes use of standard Excel formulas to help users navigate your file.
